Listing Terms

These terms set out the rules for listing a Discord server or bot on DiscordInvites (the “Platform”) and for keeping it in the directory. They are accepted when you submit a listing, by ticking the box provided, and apply for as long as the listing exists. They complement the Terms of Service, which remain applicable at all times. Where they conflict, the stricter rule applies.

Only the server owner or a member with the “Manage Server” permission may list a server. A bot may only be submitted by its developer (the owner of the Discord application).

• The server must be a real, active community open to new members
• A given server or bot may only be listed once
• The DiscordInvites account used must not be suspended
• Listing a server you are not in charge of, even with the owner's consent, is not allowed

The invite link you provide must be permanent, with no use limit or expiry date, and lead straight to the server.

• No intermediary: no redirect page, URL shortener, paid verification or any condition required before joining
• Invites are checked automatically every day; a server whose invite is invalid is hidden from the directory until it is fixed from the dashboard
• A server that systematically bans or kicks visitors coming from DiscordInvites may be removed

The listing (name, icon, banner, description, category, tags, language) must faithfully describe the server or bot as it actually is.

• The description must be written in the declared language and stay readable; keyword stuffing, unrelated tag lists and descriptions copied from another server are not allowed
• The category and tags must match the community's main activity
• The name, icon and banner must not impersonate a brand, a person, another community or DiscordInvites
• External links in the description must be safe and related to the community
• A listing left empty or clearly incomplete may be unpublished

Any server hosting adult (NSFW) content must be declared as such when added, and the relevant channels must be marked “age-restricted” on Discord. An undeclared NSFW server is hidden as soon as it is detected, then removed if it happens again. The name, icon, banner and description remain subject to all-audience rules regardless of the declaration. Refused without exception, NSFW-declared or not: any sexual content involving minors or characters presented as such, any non-consensual sexual content and any form of exploitation.

Servers or bots whose purpose is, or which promote or host, the following cannot be listed:

• Illegal activities: fraud, sale of accounts, personal data, drugs, weapons or counterfeits
• Piracy, game cheating, sharing protected content without permission
• Harassment, hate, discrimination, publication of personal information (doxxing)
• Raids, spam, mass direct messages, malware, phishing and token theft
• Scams, fake giveaways, pyramid schemes and misleading crypto-asset promotions
• Encouragement of self-harm or violence
• Any activity contrary to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines

The ranking relies on votes and bumps from real users. Any manipulation is forbidden:

• Bots, scripts, multiple accounts, purchased accounts or automated votes and bumps
• Buying or selling votes for money or any consideration outside the Platform
• Bypassing vote and bump cooldowns, or exploiting a flaw

Rewarding your members who vote, for example with a role or a reminder through the DiscordInvites bot, is allowed. The auto-bump reserved for premium servers is the only automation accepted. Votes and bumps obtained through manipulation are cancelled; the server or bot may be removed from the ranking, hidden or banned, and the responsible account suspended.

In addition to the rules above, a listed bot must:

• Be online and working, and match the Discord application you own
• Offer an invite link requesting only the permissions it needs to work
• Comply with the Discord Developer Terms; self-bots and the use of user tokens are forbidden
• Provide a privacy policy whenever it collects or stores server or user data
• Describe its commands and features accurately, without promising what it does not do
• Contain no malicious code, token collection or hidden feature

The DiscordInvites team reviews listings and handles user reports. Depending on severity, it may without notice: correct a listing, issue a warning, mark a server as NSFW, hide it from the directory (the owner still sees it in the dashboard), remove it, or permanently ban the server, the bot or the account. Premium perks, boosts and sponsored slots do not exempt you from these rules. Removal for a breach gives no right to a refund or DCoins compensation. A decision can be challenged from the Contact page, stating the server or bot concerned.

To fill the listing and the rankings, DiscordInvites collects through the Discord API and, if you install it, through its bot: member and online counts, activity, emojis, stickers, sounds and scheduled events of the server. This information is displayed publicly. Detailed statistics can be made private from the dashboard. A listing can be removed at any time by its owner from the dashboard; the associated data is then deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

DiscordInvites may update these terms. Any substantial change is announced on the Platform. Keeping the listing after the effective date counts as acceptance of the new terms; otherwise the server or bot must be removed from the directory.
